Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Deshawn Campos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Garth Andrade! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrade swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Andrade scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Andrade moves into the clinch. Campos is trying to break free. Andrade displaying some good clinch control by pressing Campos up against the cage. Andrade jumps guard but Campos stands there with Andrade around his waist. Andrade gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Andrade prevents a takedown attempt there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Campos goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Andrade tries to break free but Campos pushes him back against the cage.

Campos will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Andrade up against the cage. Andrade manages to pull guard.
Campos gets to his feet - Andrade follows without any prompting. Campos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Andrade has closed the distance and engaged Campos in a clinch.
Andrade has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Campos uses from the top position. Andrade is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Campos's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andrade wants to sweep but no luck. Andrade working for submissions but it's allowed Campos to get to half guard.
Andrade is looking to get back to is feet but Campos passes into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Andrade can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrade is trying to work for a sweep but Campos has mounted him! Campos controlling from the full mount. Andrade tries to reverse the position but Campos maintains control. Andrade wants to control but Campos is having none of it. Campos controlling from the full mount. Poor strikes thrown by Campos there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Campos content just to control the position here. Andrade wants to hold on but Campos pushes him away. Andrade tries to reverse the position but Campos maintains control. Andrade is still trying to improve position. Campos misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Andrade goes for a double leg but Campos avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Campos continues to drive forward. Andrade shoots for a double leg takedown but Campos sprawls well. He's pushed Andrade's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Andrade misses with a takedown attempt - Campos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Deshawn Campos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garth Andrade. Campos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Andrade swats him away and circles back towards the center. Andrade is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Campos tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Andrade counters with a one-two to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Campos gets tackled into the cage by Andrade. Andrade maintains the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Andrade - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's one minute gone in the round. Andrade shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Campos pinned against the cage. Campos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Campos fails in his attempt to clinch. Andrade moves into the clinch. Andrade looking for a takedown. Campos gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Andrade.

Andrade keeps the fight on the outside. Campos tries to clinch up and Andrade counters with a three punch combo that has Campos backing up. Campos nods at Andrade to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrade gets a clinch. Campos is trying to pull guard but Andrade turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Andrade drags the fight down to the ground.
Andrade wants to stand and escape but Campos is having none of it. Andrade wants to hit a switch here but Campos passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Andrade there! Campos prevents Andrade from getting the reversal. Andrade wants to control but Campos is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrade is desperately trying to improve his position but Campos has a good base and remains in mount. Campos looking to control but Andrade is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Campos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Campos trying to control but he's not successful this time. Campos goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Andrade is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrade controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Andrade works a leg free and moves into half guard. Andrade slows the pace down in half guard. Andrade is keen to just control but Campos is a slippery customer. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Andrade is thwarting Campos's attempts to control the position. Andrade performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Campos blocking the ground and pound attempt from Andrade. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Garth Andrade showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Andrade has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Campos after a bit of a struggle. Campos letting Andrade take a breather here. Campos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Campos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Campos keeping moving, preventing Andrade from controlling successfully. Andrade must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Campos is trying to control the position but Andrade postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andrade wants to control from the top but Campos keeps moving. Andrade controlling from the top position. Andrade trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Andrade has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Andrade manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Campos trying to control but Andrade is working from the bottom. Campos controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Andrade thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Andrade is trying to control the position but Campos postures up. Campos stands up and waves to Andrade to follow him. Andrade dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Deshawn Campos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garth Andrade. Campos wants to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Campos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Andrade shoots in for a takedown but Campos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Andrade throws a combination. Campos tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Andrade throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Campos tries to clinch but Andrade moves out of range. Andrade shoots in for a takedown but Campos shows good takedown defense. Campos tries to counter by clinching up but Andrade breaks away and moves out of range. Andrade takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Andrade shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Campos defends it nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Campos closes the distance and clinches.
And that's the end of the fight! Garth Andrade comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Andrade winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
