Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Tsoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilafat Urskilz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsoi comes into the arena with Zvezda po Imeni Solnce blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Viktor Tsoi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 17 - 2, fighting out of New York, Ilafat Urskilz! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsoi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Urskilz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tsoi moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromUrskilz. Urskilz misses with a wild body shot. Urskilz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Tsoi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Urskilz. Viktor Tsoi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tsoi connects with an inside leg kick. Tsoi digs a good body shot into Urskilz's ribs. Urskilz's coach down at THC playhouse was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Urskilz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Tsoi looks to throw a body kick and Urskilz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tsoi's guard. Tsoi working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Urskilz has passed into half guard!
Tsoi is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Urskilz wants to control but Tsoi is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urskilz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Urskilz wants to advance to full mount but Tsoi doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Tsoi trying to keep a closed guard but Urskilz is proving a slippery customer.
Tsoi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Urskilz manages to get himself to full guard.
Tsoi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tsoi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Urskilz has control of Tsoi's left arm, preventing Tsoi from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsoi is stalling in the full guard. Tsoi works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsoi seems to be working for a kimura but Urskilz defends the submission attempt. Urskilz is looking for a sweep. Tsoi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Urskilz keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Tsoi wants to pass the guard but Urskilz is defending well. Tsoi sitting and controlling from the half guard. Tsoi trying to control from half guard but Urskilz is working away.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nice uppercut there from Tsoi. Tsoi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Tsoi throws a head kick but Urskilz moves out of range.
Urskilz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Tsoi misses its target. Tsoi scores with a spinning back kick! Tsoi has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tsoi looks for the body kick but Urskilz saw that one coming. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Urskilz lands a big head kick that sends Tsoi tumbling to the mat! Urskilz takes a step backwards and waves Tsoi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Tsoi is rocked! Tsoi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Urskilz appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ilafat Urskilz will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tsoi lands a jab to the nose. A decent looking body kick lands there for Tsoi. Tsoi's corner calls for a 1-2. Tsoi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Urskilz takes one on the button. Urskilz throws a lazy head kick and Tsoi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tsoi takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Tsoi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Urskilz swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Tsoi thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Urskilz if he has to take too many more of those.

Tsoi avoids the head kick by Urskilz.
It appears Tsoi was looking to counter with a kick there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tsoi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Urskilz sprawls well initially but Tsoi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tsoi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsoi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Urskilz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Urskilz is staying active underneath Tsoi, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Urskilz wants to get back to full guard. Urskilz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Urskilz keeping moving, preventing Tsoi from controlling successfully. Urskilz has his hands on Tsoi's head, controlling the position. Tsoi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Urskilz's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Urskilz trying to control from the bottom.
Tsoi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Urskilz regains full guard. Nicely done. Tsoi is pushing down on Urskilz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Urskilz is fighting to maintain full guard but Tsoi has managed to sneak the leg through. Urskilz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tsoi is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsoi trying to control the pace. Urskilz controlling the position well. Tsoi is stalling here. Urskilz is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Tsoi seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Urskilz has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Urskilz working away.

Viktor Tsoi dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Urskilz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tsoi to score with a decent uppercut. Urskilz defending well as Tsoi loads up on a big left hand. Urskilz follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Tsoi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Urskilz moves away. Urskilz throws a body kick that misses. A left lands for Tsoi. Tsoi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Urskilz. That one must have hurt. A thudding body kick lands there by Tsoi!
Good leg kick by Tsoi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some bone on bone action there as Tsoi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Tsoi throws a quick counter kick to the body but Urskilz avoids it. Tsoi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Tsoi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsoi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Urskilz is out of range and Tsoi settles back down. Tsoi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Urskilz's waist but Urskilz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tsoi off to one side. Urskilz changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Viktor Tsoi is winning the standup battle so far. Urskilz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tsoi circles away quickly and effectively. Tsoi quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. It looks like Tsoi has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Tsoi avoids the head kick by Urskilz.
Tsoi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tsoi misses with a body kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Tsoi. That's going to slow Urskilz down. No joy there for Tsoi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A little jabbing left from Urskilz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Urskilz throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Tsoi checks a leg kick. Tsoi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Urskilz.
Tsoi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Urskilz can do to turn this around?

Tsoi scores with a hook. Ilafat Urskilz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tsoi misses with an uppercut. Urskilz saw that one coming. Tsoi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Urskilz moves away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tsoi throws a head kick but Urskilz moves out of range.
Urskilz looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Tsoi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Urskilz takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Tsoi throws a leg kick but Urskilz sees it coming and moves out of range. Tsoi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Urskilz tries to clinch but Tsoi moves out of range. Tsoi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Tsoi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Urskilz. Urskilz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Urskilz scores with a push kick. Tsoi throws a sloppy body shot

Tsoi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. This has been an exciting period of action! Urskilz works Tsoi's body with a nice hook. Nice body kick from Urskilz. Tsoi throws a head kick that misses. Urskilz throws a head kick that misses and Tsoi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A low kick from Tsoi is predictable there and Urskilz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A decent looking cross lands there for Tsoi. Urskilz has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Tsoi. Tsoi falls off balance throwing a combination
and Urskilz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that's the end of the fight! Viktor Tsoi showed his dominance in that final round. Well Tsoi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
