Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Hardwinkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ibi Dikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dikki is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Don Hardwinkle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ibi Dikki! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dikki moves out of range of the strikes. Hardwinkle lands a jab to Dikki's midsection. Hardwinkle tries to clinch up. The fight stays on the outside here - Hardwinkle looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hardwinkle fails in his attempt to clinch. Hardwinkle swats away the attempt to clinch by Dikki. Dikki slips a jab from Hardwinkle. Hardwinkle wants to clinch and Dikki counters with a slapping leg kick. Dikki gets the takedown into side control. Hardwinkle is letting Dikki control him for a moment. Hardwinkle tries to escape but Dikki is in control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dikki remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Hardwinkle tries to improve position but can't. Dikki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hardwinkle keeps working. Hardwinkle wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Dikki in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hardwinkle stops Dikki from passing to mount. Dikki in side control, just content to control the action for now. Hardwinkle manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dikki's best efforts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardwinkle is trying to stand up here but Dikki is controlling him well. Hardwinkle is looking to improve his position.
Dikki is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hardwinkle! Dikki trying to control but Hardwinkle is having none of it. Hardwinkle srikes from the bottom but he's lost position and has given up his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hardwinkle is trying to get back to his feet but Dikki has full control of the position and if anything, Hardwinkle has just worked his way into a worse spot. Hardwinkle just trying to survive but Dikki is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Hardwinkle is breathing heavily. A bit of a pause in the action here. Dikki controlling the positon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Don Hardwinkle will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Horrible takedown by Dikki or perhaps it was just good defense by Hardwinkle which made him look bad. A swing and a miss from Hardwinkle. Dikki circles away from the clinch attempt and Dikki counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dikki trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardwinkle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dikki looking to pass the guard. Hardwinkle is looking to stand back up but Dikki counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hardwinkle. Hardwinkle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hardwinkle tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dikki stalling. Dikki is looking to advance position but Hardwinkle won't allow it. Dikki is tying to control. Hardwinkle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Despite being in the dominant position, Ibi Dikki just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hardwinkle bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dikki's head backwards. Hardwinkle tries to clinch but Dikki moves away and Dikki counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dikki performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hardwinkle is trying to stand up here but Dikki is controlling him well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hardwinkle is in trouble now - Dikki has advanced to mount! Hardwinkle's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dikki goes for an armbar but Hardwinkle turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hardwinkle. Hardwinkle has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dikki keeping moving, preventing Hardwinkle from controlling successfully. Hardwinkle pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dikki is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dikki looking for a guillotine here but Hardwinkle defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dikki controls Hardwinkle momentarily but Hardwinkle frees himself. Dikki pulls Hardwinkle in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ibi Dikki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Dikki rushes Hardwinkle and presses him up against the cage. Dikki tries to pull guard but Hardwinkle holds him up against the cage and eventually Dikki drops back down to his feet.
Dikki has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hardwinkle regains guard immediately. Dikki wants to control from the top but Hardwinkle keeps moving. Dikki won't allow Hardwinkle to get back to his feet. Hardwinkle keeping moving, preventing Dikki from controlling successfully. Hardwinkle trying to strike off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dikki won't allow Hardwinkle to sweep him here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dikki won't allow Hardwinkle to get back to his feet. Hardwinkle wants to get back to his feet but Dikki passes into half guard.
Hardwinkle is trying to control but can't.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dikki drives through with a takedown into guard. Dikki controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dikki advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardwinkle tries to strike but it doesn't land. A lull in the action here. Hardwinkle is trying to control Dikki's posture but Dikki avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dikki is looking to take a break and control but Hardwinkle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hardwinkle is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Hardwinkle is letting Dikki control him for a moment. Dikki's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hardwinkle wants to get back to his feet but Dikki drags him back down. Hardwinkle is looking for a sweep. Dikki remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hardwinkle wants to get back to his feet but Dikki is dominant here and he's now got Hardwinkle's back!
And that's the end of the fight! Ibi Dikki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dikki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
