Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Crowley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee Pierce is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edwin Crowley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Pierce! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crowley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Crowley gets tackled into the cage by Pierce. Pierce maintains the clinch. Pierce ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pierce no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Pierce has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crowley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pierce is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pierce can do anything to dispel that myth. Crowley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pierce leaves Crowley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Crowley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pierce counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crowley gets caught napping as Pierce dives in and scores a takedown. Crowley manages to retain guard. Pierce prevents Crowley from getting back to his feet. Pierce forces his way into half guard. Pierce seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Crowley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Pierce is stalling here. Crowley is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pierce seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Crowley has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Crowley decides to take the fight back to the feet. Pierce gets a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crowley wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pierce manages to pull guard.
Crowley engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Pierce trying to keep a closed guard but Crowley is proving a slippery customer.
Crowley is stalling in the full guard. Crowley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pierce manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Crowley has Pierce in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pierce trying to control the position from guard on top but Crowley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Pierce with a flurry of punches that miss. Pierce wants to control from the top but Crowley keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pierce gets to his feet - Crowley follows without any prompting. Crowley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edwin Crowley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crowley looks to clinch and Pierce counters with a crisp one two that drops Crowley! Pierce thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Crowley to his feet! Crowley is in big trouble!
Crowley is rocked! Crowley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pierce to the ground. Crowley is now in Pierce's guard. Oh Crowley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Pierce looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Crowley is defending well. Pierce quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Crowley has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pierce celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
