Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ed Bridges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roderick Seterra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roderick Seterra has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ed Bridges! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roderick Seterra! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seterra keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A little jabbing left from Seterra on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Seterra drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seterra trying to control the action but Bridges is working from the bottom. Bridges is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Seterra has just dragged him back down to the mat. A lull in the action here as Seterra stalls from top position. Seterra working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bridges is trying to escape the position but Seterra is controlling the position. Seterra decides to take the fight back to the feet. Seterra gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seterra pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Seterra's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Seterra instigates a clinch. Seterra utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Seterra breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bridges throws out a loose jab but Seterra uses good head movement to avoid it. Bridges tries to score a power double leg takedown but Seterra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bridges somewhat. Seterra clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seterra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Seterra connects with an inside leg kick. Bridges rushes Seterra and presses him up against the cage. Bridges takes an elbow to the forehead. Seterra pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Seterra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bridges tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Seterra manages to circle out of the way. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Seterra fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Seterra has managed to clinch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bridges. Bridges tries to stand but Seterra is controlling his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seterra is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Bridges tries to get to his feet but Seterra is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Bridges in his guard. Seterra working a defensive guard but Bridges passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bridges wants to stand up but Seterra is controlling the position.
Bridges not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bridges is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bridges tries to stand but his arm is trapped. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roderick Seterra dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Seterra fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bridges, pushing him back against the cage. Seterra gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Ed Bridges has been cut. Seterra tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bridges smiles and moves away.
Seterra shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bridges defends it nicely. Seterra throws a nice looking combination but Bridges bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Seterra has closed the distance and engaged Bridges in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bridges has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Seterra avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bridges blocks an elbow strike. Seterra has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bridges uses from the top position. Bridges wanted to stand there but Seterra had control of the position.

Seterra is trying to pull guard but Bridges has him pressed against the cage. Ed Bridges has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roderick Seterra. Seterra gets underhooks to prevent Bridges's takedown attempt.

Bridges shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Seterra kicks off Bridges and gets to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Seterra gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bridges is looking to take this one to the mat. Seterra has Bridges pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bridges manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Seterra manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Seterra. Bridges fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bridges closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bridges lands in his opponent's guard. Seterra is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bridges presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Seterra jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bridges walks away with a smile on his face. Seterra gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bridges fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Seterra to the ground. Bridges is now in Seterra's guard. Seterra manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Seterra gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bridges to score an easy takedown into full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bridges wants to stand but Seterra has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Bridges wants to stand and escape but instead Seterra has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Bridges really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Seterra prevents Bridges from getting back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roderick Seterra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ed Bridges's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Bridges tries to keep at a distance but Seterra has taken the fight into the clinch. Bridges drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Seterra escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A good leg kick by Seterra. Horrible takedown attempt by Seterra or perhaps it was just good defense by Bridges, which made it look bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Seterra enables Bridges to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Seterra manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bridges wanted to stand there but Seterra had control of the position. Seterra has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Bridges has passed into side control.
Seterra takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Seterra has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bridges wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Seterra, who protects the arm well. Bridges will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bridges tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Seterra is trying to improve his position. Seterra can't do much from the bottom here. Bridges throwing strikes but Seterra manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seterra tries to advance to mount but can't. Seterra stands up and we're back to a striking position. Seterra has managed to clinch.

Seterra's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ed Bridges has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roderick Seterra is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Seterra has closed the distance and engaged Bridges in a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Roderick Seterra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Seterra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
