Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oisin O Conghaile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Quin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Conghaile's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Deer's Cry by Angelina. Quin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Captain Jack - Iko Iko kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

34 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oisin O Conghaile! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Quin! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Conghaile throws a lazy uppercut
and Quin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. O Conghaile is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
O Conghaile throws a wild body kick that Quin sees coming a mile off. O Conghaile avoids a lazy jab quite easily. And O Conghaile counters with a quick kick to the body but Quin blocks it. Quin checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. O Conghaile is looking to clinch but Quin is avoiding it.
O Conghaile throws a hook to the side of Quin's head but Quin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Quin lands a slapping body shot.
O Conghaile buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
O Conghaile takes one on the button. O Conghaile throws a body punch but Quin moves out of range. Quin scores with a jab. O Conghaile acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Oisin O Conghaile has been cut. Quin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck O Conghaile on the side of the head. O Conghaile has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Iron Palace in the buildup to the fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. O Conghaile tries a head kick but it misses.
Quin darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Quin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. O Conghaile doesn't manage to clinch there - Quin circles away.
Quin is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. O Conghaile misses with the body kick and Quin counters with a lovely straight right hand! A left lands for Quin. Quin shoots for a double leg takedown but O Conghaile sprawls well. He's pushed Quin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by O Conghaile. O Conghaile tries to sprawl but Quin drives through with a takedown into half guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Quin working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. O Conghaile slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Quin lands a couple of elbows. Quin wants to control from the top but O Conghaile keeps moving. Quin controlling from the top position. O Conghaile is looking for a triangle but Quin pushes his legs off easily.
Quin works a leg free and moves into half guard. O Conghaile is staying active underneath Quin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. O Conghaile has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Quin is working away from the top position though. O Conghaile looking for submissions off his back. Still in half guard, Quin seems content to control. O Conghaile actively working from the bottom here. Quin is just content to waste time from the top position. O Conghaile takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. O Conghaile keeping moving, preventing Quin from controlling successfully. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quin pushing down on O Conghaile's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Quin is nestled in close to O Conghaile, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Quin wants to work for an arm triangle but O Conghaile is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Quin seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and O Conghaile has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Quin is trying to control O Conghaile's posture but O Conghaile avoids it. Quin gets back to half guard. O Conghaile is looking for a kimura here.

O Conghaile scores with a head kick. Quin tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. A looping hook to the body misses from O Conghaile. Quin does a little dance to reset his feet. O Conghaile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. O Conghaile defending well as Quin loads up on a big left hand. O Conghaile takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fighters circling - O Conghaile throws out the jab but it was never going to land. O Conghaile misses with a left hand enabling Quin to counter with a crisp jab. O Conghaile darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Quin digs a good hook to O Conghaile's body.

O Conghaile throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A jab from Quin misses. O Conghaile avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. O Conghaile tries to clinch up and Quin counters with a lovely straight right hand! A solid body kick from O Conghaile. Quin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of O Conghaile's head. Quin avoids the head kick by O Conghaile.

O Conghaile pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A big left from Quin misses. O Conghaile throws out a leg kick but Quin moves out of range and O Conghaile only half commits. O Conghaile looks to land a left hand but Quin moved out of range nicely. Quin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract O Conghaile.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! O Conghaile drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. O Conghaile throws a head kick that Quin semi-blocks.
O Conghaile goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Oisin O Conghaile is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for Quin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Quin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. O Conghaile jabbing away but nothing is landing. Quin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. O Conghaile throws a wild body kick that Quin sees coming a mile off. Quin scores with the left hand. O Conghaile knows he should have avoided that one. O Conghaile pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Quin let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. O Conghaile gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Quin dips to his left and cracks O Conghaile with an uppercut! Quin moves away from the strike by O Conghaile. Quin scores with a three punch combo!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts O Conghaile, as that shot connected.
A momentary lapse in concentration from O Conghaile enables Quin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. O Conghaile manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. O Conghaile kicks Quin off and gets to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A nice combination there by Quin.
Quin staying out of range there. O Conghaile pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. O Conghaile moves in looking to clinch but Quin pushes him off. O Conghaile misses with an attempted mid kick.
Quin lands with an uppercut that bounces O Conghaile off the cage and back into range. Quin checks a leg kick. Donk. O Conghaile catches Quin right on the button with a cross. Quin throws out a powerful jab. O Conghaile's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Quin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! O Conghaile scrambles back to his feet. O Conghaile misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! O Conghaile swings widly with a right hand
and Quin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Quin moves into range and connects with a jab. Quin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from O Conghaile. Quin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Quin scores with a jab to the jaw. O Conghaile misses with a combination
and Quin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

O Conghaile looks to land a body kick but Quin moved away. O Conghaile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A cross from Quin lands. Quin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches O Conghaile napping and manages to drive through into side control! Quin trying to control the position but O Conghaile is working away. Quin has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for O Conghaile! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Quin lands with some strikes. O Conghaile slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Quin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Oisin O Conghaile's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Quin throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Quin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before O Conghaile has time to react. Quin shoots in but O Conghaile avoids the takedown attempt easily. Oisin O Conghaile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quin blocks a leg kick. O Conghaile displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quin throws out the jab. It looked like O Conghaile wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Quin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Quin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from O Conghaile.
O Conghaile walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Quin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Quin lands in his opponent's guard. O Conghaile is trying to control the position but Quin postures up. Quin slips nicely into half guard. O Conghaile looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. O Conghaile tries to get to full guard but Quin has control of the leg. O Conghaile looking for submissions off his back. Quin wants to pass to mount but O Conghaile is defending the position. O Conghaile is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. O Conghaile wants to control but Quin is keeping busy and won't allow it. Oisin O Conghaile has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. O Conghaile makes his way to full guard. A much better position for O Conghaile. Quin landing with the ground and pound. Quin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. O Conghaile looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Quin connects with a couple of short punches. Quin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. O Conghaile keeping moving, preventing Quin from controlling successfully. Quin lands a couple of digs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quin showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Quin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Quin passes O Conghaile's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Quin is looking to advance position but O Conghaile won't allow it. Quin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. O Conghaile actively working from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Quin working O Conghaile over with strikes. O Conghaile looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Quin scoring with strikes to the body and head. Quin wants to pass to mount but O Conghaile is defending the position. O Conghaile taking some punishment here, with Quin in his half guard. Quin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Quin not doing much here.
Quin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks O Conghaile with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Matt Quin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Quin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Matt Quin! A very excited looking Matt Quin made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. In defeat, Oisin O Conghaile stepped up to the mic, saying 'You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance!'.
