Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Swift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John J Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rambo has chosen its a long road as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift moves away from the strike by Rambo.
Swift is looking to chop away at Rambo's legs.
Swift takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Swift clinches.
Swift prevents Rambo from breaking the clinch.

Swift breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rambo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Swift manages to avoid it.

Swift walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Swift moves out of range as Rambo strikes.
Swift shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rambo pinned against the cage. Rambo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Rambo might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Swift here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Rambo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rambo misses with a hook. Swift ducked under it nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Swift will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
