Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alan Button (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arek Kot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alan Button! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arek Kot! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kot shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Button napping and manages to drive through into side control! Button is being controlled here. Button tries to escape but Kot is in control. A lull in the action here. Kot's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kot tries to move to mount but Button blocks the move with his legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kot lands a decent elbow from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kot tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Button trying to remain calm as Kot controls from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Button is trying to buck Kot off. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kot scoring with punches and elbows. Kot slows the pace down. Kot stands up and we're back to a striking position. Button tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kot paws at him with a jab and circles away. Button throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Button misses with a takedown attempt and Kot counters with a takedown into side control. Button tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Button is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Button fending off the submission attempt from Kot. Kot has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Button's body.
Kot scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Button is looking for a way out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A bit of a pause in the action here. Kot controlling the positon. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Button looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Button gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kot to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kot sitting in guard, not really doing much. Button is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kot is controlling him. Kot must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Button is trying to control the position but Kot postures up. Kot is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Arek Kot has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kot keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Button's head. Kot pushing down on Button's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kot wants to get back to his feet.
Button regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kot landing with the ground and pound. Kot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kot distracts Button with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kot content to stall in guard here. Button can't keep his opponent in guard - Kot advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Button is trying to stand.
Kot is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Button has managed to free his arm - good work. Ground and pound from Kot. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ground and pound from Kot. Kot working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Still in half guard, Kot seems content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kot tries to stand but can't do so whilst Button controls his leg.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Button gets caught flat footed, as Kot shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Button has a closed guard, preventing Kot from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arek Kot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Kot throws a series of strikes that have Button backpedaling.
Button shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kot as he jumps to the side. Kot takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Button tries to clinch up but Kot circles away and keeps his distance. Kot shoots in and gets a takedown into Button's guard. Kot is working Button over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kot got a little sloppy there for a moment and Button has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kot has managed to get both his arms back between Button's legs - danger averted. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Button being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kot passes Button's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Button looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kot works his way into full mount! Kot tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kot jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Button manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kot is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Button taking a bit of punishment here - Kot scoring with strikes. Kot landing a few strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kot scores with punches from side control. Button seems a little lost for a moment, as Kot dominates the positioning. Kot has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kot gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kot tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Kot jumps guard and drags Button to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Kot working for a triangle but Button defends it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Button can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that's the end of the fight! Arek Kot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
