Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rantan Plan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rantan Plan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Bishop! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bishop sprawls well initially but Plan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Plan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bishop looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Plan works his foot free and advances to mount. Plan goes for an armbar but Bishop turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bishop. Bishop looking to pass the guard. Bishop thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Plan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bishop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bishop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Plan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop wants to control from the top but Plan keeps moving. Bishop looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Plan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bishop is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Plan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bishop's back instead. Bishop trying to control but not successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Plan patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Plan is breathing heavily. Bishop can't escape the position.
Bishop turns into Plan and is now in his guard.
Bishop sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Plan's guard. Plan actively working from the bottom here. Bishop wants to work for an arm triangle but Plan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Plan is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bishop pulls his head out easily. Plan is in trouble now - Bishop has advanced to mount! Plan really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop prevents Plan from getting the reversal. Bishop looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Plan tries to reverse the position but Bishop maintains control. Plan is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Plan looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bishop controlling well, preventing Plan from escaping the position.
Bishop patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Plan tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Bishop tries to control but Plan wriggling away. Plan slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Plan looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Plan looking for submissions off his back. Plan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nick Bishop will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Plan shoots in for a double leg but Bishop sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bishop shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bishop was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Plan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bishop looking to control but Plan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Plan is trying to escape the mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Plan is trying to reverse the position but instead Bishop has taken his back - oops! Bishop is hanging on to Plan's back as he tries to escape.
Bishop doesn't have the hooks in and Plan manages to turn into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop controls Plan momentarily but Plan frees himself. Bishop lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Plan! Plan working to try and regain half guard.
Bishop is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Plan is surviving well by controlling Bishop's body position as best he can. Plan is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bishop trying to control but Plan is having none of it. Bishop pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Plan tries to reverse the position but Bishop maintains control. Plan regains half guard. Bishop trying to control from half guard but Plan is working away. Plan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Plan looking for a guillotine here but Bishop defends easily.

Bishop defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Plan's arms.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Plan is looking for a rear naked choke here but Bishop reverses the position brilliantly into Plan's guard!
Bishop passes Plan's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Plan is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bishop pulls his head out easily. Plan looking for submissions off his back. Nick Bishop has got the better of the ground game so far. Well, if Bishop is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Nick Bishop showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Plan is not content to let Bishop control the position. Plan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Plan has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Bishop escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Bishop! Plan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bishop's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Plan is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bishop pulls his head out easily. Plan actively working from the bottom here. Plan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Plan looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Bishop pushes past his half guard into mount! Rantan Plan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bishop tries to control but Plan wriggling away.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Nick Bishop. Well Bishop has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
