Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Drew Peacock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lalli Venemies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drew Peacock could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lalli Venemies's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Drew Peacock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lalli Venemies! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peacock throws an off balance right hand
and Venemies counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Peacock thinking. Venemies takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Peacock tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A big right from Peacock misses. Venemies drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Peacock defends it well. Venemies tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Peacock was well out of range. Poor timing from Venemies. A head kick from Peacock lands but Venemies takes it in his stride. Venemies misses with a hook. Peacock ducked under it nicely. A big left from Venemies misses. Peacock throws a head kick but Venemies moves out of range.
Venemies drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Peacock defends it well. Peacock lands with a right hand. Peacock lands with a kick to the ribs.
Peacock misses with a straight left. Venemies is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Peacock does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Peacock misses with a kick to the body and Venemies counters with a stiff right hand. Drew Peacock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peacock missing with a left hand there. Venemies was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Drew Peacock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peacock slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Peacock cracks Venemies with an open hand slap. Venemies ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Venemies feints the counter takedown. Peacock dips to his left and cracks Venemies with an uppercut! Venemies keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Peacock. Peacock gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Peacock can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Venemies controls the pace. Venemies trying to control the position from guard on top but Peacock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Venemies trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Venemies passes Peacock's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Venemies works his way into side control. Peacock is not content to let Venemies control the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Venemies thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Venemies working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Venemies wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Peacock, who protects the arm well. Peacock holds on to Venemies's head and controls the position momentarily. Venemies tries for a kimura but Peacock is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Venemies wants to control but Peacock is keeping him busy. Peacock knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Venemies on the ground. Venemies swings around for an armbar but Peacock sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Venemies's guard. Venemies has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Peacock can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Venemies working a defensive guard here.
Venemies is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Peacock rolls with it to try and escape but Venemies cranks on the arm and Peacock is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
