Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sven Dufva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott has chosen Wildboy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sven Dufva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
35 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Maximus Scott! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dufva throws a series of strikes that have Scott backpedaling.
It looks like Maximus Scott has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Dufva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Scott closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dufva's guard. Scott passes easily into side control. Nice work. Scott is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dufva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dufva can't do much from the bottom here. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Scott working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Scott is trying to get an arm triangle but Dufva is defending well. Dufva holds on to Scott's head and controls the position momentarily. Scott working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dufva is trying to control Scott's posture but Scott avoids it. We've been hearing good reports from Dufva's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dufva keeping his opponent close. Scott is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dufva looks calm but he's in trouble here. Scott gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dufva is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Scott lets go of the hold and Dufva can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Maximus Scott! An out of breath Maximus Scott thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
