Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carter Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio El Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter Martin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carter Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julio El Toro! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! El Toro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Martin as he jumps to the side. El Toro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've been told by Martin's head coaches at K.O. Koala's that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. El Toro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Martin sprawls well. Martin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. El Toro gets slowly back to his feet. Martin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
El Toro throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Martin counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Julio El Toro has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. El Toro throws a right and a left that both miss. El Toro has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. El Toro with a lazy takedown attempt and Martin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Carter Martin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julio El Toro. El Toro walks straight into a right hand from Martin - that's dropped him! Martin jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save El Toro from any more punishment! El Toro complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
