Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oktawian August (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoine Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). August comes to the cage accompanied by Hit 'em up. Wallace is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pray by Jay-Z feat. Rob Dougan. Antoine Wallace struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
August keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Wallace scores with a nice right hand.
Wallace attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

August throws a sloppy head kick and Wallace moves out of range easily.
And Wallace tries to counter it with a takedown but August pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wallace has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Wallace throws a hook to the side of August's head but August sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
August fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wallace has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
