Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enting Butikol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Kollegah - Bossaura. The crowd seem to be enjoying Butikol's choice of entrance music: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, David Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Enting Butikol! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Donatello Bradman and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel lands with an overhand left. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Butikol checks a leg kick. Steel avoids the body shot from Butikol.
Steel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Steel lands a big head kick that sends Butikol tumbling to the mat! Steel takes a step backwards and waves Butikol back to his feet - he wants the finish! Steel misses with a body shot.
Steel backing away here, and Butikol unleashes a leg kick that just misses. A shot to the liver by Butikol. Beautiful body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Steel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Butikol misses with a leg kick and Steel counters with a thumping low kick. Butikol clinches. Steel breaks the clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Steel. Steel throws a head kick that misses. Steel misses with a leg kick. Steel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Butikol on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Steel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Butikol manages to avoid it. Steel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel scores with a spinning back kick! Butikol throws a sloppy head kick and Steel moves out of range easily. Butikol avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Butikol is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Steel throws a big counter combination but Butikol scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Butikol listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Steel scores with a jab to the jaw. Steel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Steel. Butikol shrugs it off though. Steel throws a head kick but Butikol moves out of range.
Steel gets tackled into the cage by Butikol. Butikol maintains the clinch. Steel takes an elbow to the temple. Steel can't find room to land a body shot as Butikol controls the action.
Butikol lands an elbow inside. Butikol told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steel is working Butikol over against the cage. Steel lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Butikol looks to throw an elbow but misses. Butikol tries to land knees in the clinch but Steel avoids the damage to the body. Butikol prevents a body shot from Steel. Butikol using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Steel has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Steel slowing the pace effectively. Steel misses with some punches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Steel. A head punch blocked on the inside by Butikol. Butikol tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Steel avoids it. Steel cracks Butikol with a nice body shot. Butikol blocks a body shot from Steel. Butikol misses with a body punch.
Steel misses with the head strike.
Steel tries a body shot but Butikol blocks it.
Steel avoids the elbow strike from Butikol, against the cage.

Butikol throws an elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good body shot from Steel.

Butikol tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Steel breaks from the clinch.
Steel throws a low kick but Butikol moves out of range easily. Steel with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Butikol takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Steel is looking to chop away at Butikol's legs. Good leg kick by Steel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Butikol scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Butikol blocks a head kick by Steel.
Butikol tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Steel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Steel looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Steel backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Butikol's temple! It sends Butikol violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Steel celebrates and the doctors try to help Butikol!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). David Steel! After winning the bout, David Steel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
