Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Drew Strong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christopher Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Johnson.
Strong is not content to let Johnson control the position.
Strong gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Johnson not doing much here.
Johnson prevents Strong from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson wants to work for an arm triangle but Strong is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Johnson is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Strong manages to get to full guard.
Strong tries to strike from the bottom.
Strong avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Strong will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Strong thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Johnson lands a couple of digs.
Johnson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Strong dives on top into guard.

Johnson is trying to keep Strong in close.
Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Strong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Strong trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Johnson pulls Strong in to control the position.
Johnson wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Johnson dives in and scores a takedown into Strong's guard.

Strong is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Johnson has a hand on Strong's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Strong takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
The referee warns Johnson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Strong lands a nice shot to the head.
Strong avoids the attempt from Johnson to control.
Strong is landing with some decent strikes but Johnson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

It looks like Christopher Johnson has been cut.

Johnson tries to hold on but Strong postures up.
Johnson is in all sorts of trouble here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Strong breaks from Johnson's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Johnson takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Strong's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
