Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Raven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wooden Pencil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pencil has chosen Full Retard as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pencil needs to keep his hands up - Raven had a free shot at his head there.
Pencil fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Raven on the side of the head.
Raven misses with a head kick.

Raven throws a body kick that misses
and Pencil counters with a stiff right hand.
Raven throws a jab when Pencil was well out of range.
And Pencil tries to counter it with a takedown but Raven pushes his down on his head and steps out.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pencil has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

We've been hearing reports that Raven has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Raven looks to throw the jab but Pencil is out of range.
Pencil takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pencil lands with a kick to the temple. Raven shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Thomas Raven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pencil lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Raven has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Raven and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pencil bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That was a close round but I would say that Thomas Raven will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Raven works Pencil's body with a nice hook.
Pencil takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pencil connects with a looping right hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wooden Pencil showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pencil scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Raven manages to mount him!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pencil is squirming around, avoiding Raven's attempts to control the action.

Raven sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pencil really wants to buck Raven off and get back to his feet.
Raven controlling the pace for now.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thomas Raven.
I think Raven has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
