Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Kingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Lewis! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kingston. It looked like Kingston was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Lewis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lewis stands and throws Kingston's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lewis is chipping away with strikes.
Kingston wants to get back to his feet. Lewis scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kingston to see if he's OK. Check out the look on Lewis's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Lewis advances nicely into full mount. Lewis scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kingston?

It looks like Sean Kingston has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lewis looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Lewis lands with some strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingston is in a horrible position here. Lewis smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Kingston tries to reverse the position but Lewis maintains control. Lewis loads up with a big shot that hurts Kingston! He's pulled Lewis in close but Lewis has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Kingston survive? More strikes from Lewis and Kingston is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Lewis! Our winner, John Lewis, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
