Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shun Sugawara!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Strangler misses the target.
Sugawara uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Strangler.
Sugawara connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Strangler's hands.
Strangler throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sugawara throws a lazy right hand but Strangler sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sugawara misses with a body shot
and Strangler makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Strangler is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sugawara.
Sugawara tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Strangler throws an overhand right that lands on Sugawara's shoulder, as Sugawara tries to avoid the shot.
Strangler moves away from the strike by Sugawara.
Sugawara shoots and misses
and Strangler counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Strangler lands with a nice body punch.
Sugawara doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sugawara on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Sugawara is rocked!
It looks like Shun Sugawara has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sugawara misses the body punch
and Strangler counters with a big right hand! Oh Sugawara is in trouble here! Strangler follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
