Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A little jabbing left from Velasquez on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Velasquez lands a glancing blow to the side of Bob's head.
Bob takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Velasquez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Velasquez connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Ron Bob has been cut.
Bob takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Velasquez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bob misses the body punch
and Velasquez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bob is rocked!
Bob swings widly with a right hand
and Velasquez rattles Bob with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Bob tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Velasquez dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Bob stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Velasquez!
