Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Jeremy Pettis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Seth Harris!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis checks a leg kick.
Harris lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pettis will feel that in the morning.
A shot to the body from Harris misses
and Pettis counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A low kick from Harris misses
and Pettis counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Seth Harris has been cut.
Harris throws a lazy uppercut
and Pettis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Harris throws a low kick but it's checked well by Pettis.
Pettis keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Pettis was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harris throws a jab when Pettis was well out of range.
Pettis takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Harris connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Harris cracks Pettis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pettis is looking to counter punch.

Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pettis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Harris.
Harris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like Pettis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Harris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pettis circles away quickly and effectively.
Harris tries to land a front kick but Pettis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Harris on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Pettis avoids a kick to the body.
Pettis is looking to counter punch.
Harris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pettis swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Harris pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Harris throws the kick towards the body but Pettis avoids it.
Harris with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Pettis takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Harris does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A head kick misses from Harris.
Harris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pettis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Harris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pettis is looking to counter punch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harris, as that shot connected.

Harris throws a lazy right hand but Pettis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Harris misses with a hook
and Pettis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pettis cracks Harris with a right hand to the side of the head.
Harris scores with a head kick. Pettis tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Harris has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pettis lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Pettis has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Harris fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Pettis avoids the body shot from Harris.
An attempted straight right counter from Pettis misses the target.
Harris throws a poor cross that misses
and Pettis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Harris tries to land a front kick but Pettis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Harris closes the distance and lands a one-two.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Pettis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

enabling Pettis to counter with a crisp jab.
Harris throws a lazy right hand but Pettis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pettis swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Pettis might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Harris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pettis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Harris throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pettis counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pettis blocks a low kick nicely.
Harris throws a low kick but Pettis moves out of range easily.
Pettis swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A slow jab from Pettis misses its intended target.
Pettis throws a looping overhand right but Harris ducks down to avoid it.
Harris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pettis takes a kick to the side of the head.


Pettis is rocked!

Harris dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Pettis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pettis drops his hands momentarily. Harris doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Pettis staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Pettis doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Seth Harris!
Our winner, Seth Harris, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
