Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anaconda Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deshawn Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anaconda Fighter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Deshawn Jackson! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson dodges the punch combination from Fighter.
Fighter tries for a takedown but Jackson circles away easily and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fighter tries to score with a low kick but Jackson moves his leg out of the way. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jackson! But no joy. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fighter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fighter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson leaves Fighter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anaconda Fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fighter shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jackson looks like he wants to counter punch here. Fighter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fighter misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Fighter shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jackson! But no joy. Fighter clinches with his opponent.

Jackson looks winded! Jackson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fighter.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jackson. Jackson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Fighter blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter is looking for a takedown. Jackson scores with a shoulder strike. Fighter is looking to break free of the clinch but Jackson has double underhooks. Fighter blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Jackson scores with a nice short uppercut. Jackson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jackson. Fighter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fighter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fighter is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Fighter passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson is looking to get back to full guard here but Fighter has managed to pass to side control instead. Fighter blocks the strikes from Jackson.
Fighter is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fighter advances to mount. Fighter controlling the pace for now. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Deshawn Jackson will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Fighter shoots in and bounces Jackson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fighter postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Fighter postures up and lands a big shot to Jackson's brow. Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Hilo inform us that Jackson has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Fighter advances to half guard. Fighter perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter blocks the strikes from Jackson.
Jackson throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Fighter manages to pass to side control. Jackson seems a little lost for a moment, as Fighter dominates the positioning. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter is chipping away with strikes.
Fighter is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jackson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fighter gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jackson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fighter lets go of the hold and Jackson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
