Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alton Newcastle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pelle Paniikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paniikki is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by N'sync - Bye Bye Bye. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

My spies in Holding Cell inform me that Paniikki has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

That's time! Newcastle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Newcastle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Paniikki was well out of range. Poor timing from Newcastle.
Newcastle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Paniikki.
Paniikki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Newcastle tries to avoid it but Paniikki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Newcastle to the ground. Newcastle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Newcastle was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Paniikki shoots for a takedown but Newcastle saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Alton Newcastle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pelle Paniikki.
Newcastle scores with a hook to the body. Paniikki takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Paniikki shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Pelle Paniikki has been cut.
Paniikki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Newcastle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Newcastle lands with a big right hook that stumbles Paniikki - he's out on his feet here! Newcastle follows up with another monster hook that separates Paniikki from consciousness! Paniikki falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Newcastle stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alton Newcastle!
