Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luciano Pacheco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cooper Hilgers!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Ben Hemmingworth and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hilgers rushes Pacheco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hilgers lands a hook that snaps the head of Pacheco backwards.
Hilgers will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Pacheco up against the cage.

Hilgers has hold of one of Pacheco's legs. Pacheco is fighting the takedown attempt but Hilgers gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pacheco enables Hilgers to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pacheco manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well Hilgers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
