Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyaf Daeland Puno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puno comes to the ring accompanied by I'm a soldier - Tupac. The crowd seem to be enjoying Redman's choice of entrance music: Put Your Lights On . On his way into the ring it seems that Tyaf Daeland Puno has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tyaf Daeland Puno seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Damien Redman!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redman fails to land with a series of punches.
Redman connects with a body shot.
Redman moves away from the strike by Puno.
Redman checks a low kick from Puno.
Puno sets himself, and Redman steps forward looking for the clinch! Puno avoids it this time.
Puno takes a swing at Redman's ribcage but misses.
Redman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Puno manages to avoid it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Puno.
Redman now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Redman throws an overhand right that lands on Puno's shoulder, as Puno tries to avoid the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Redman drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Puno throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Redman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Redman moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Nice shot lands for Puno.
Damien Redman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Puno slips a straight right by Redman.
Puno misses with a few strikes there.
Puno throws a series of punches but Redman avoids them all with ease.
Redman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Puno moves away.
Redman checks a low kick from Puno.
Redman appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Puno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Puno tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Redman was well out of range. Poor timing from Puno.
Redman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Puno fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Redman checks it well.

Puno closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Redman is working to avoid the ground and pound but Puno connects with a decent elbow.

Redman tries to improve position but can't.

Redman managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Puno.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Redman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Puno tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Redman wants to get back to his feet.
Puno misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Puno throwing strikes but Redman manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Redman tries for a kimura but Puno is defending well.

Puno tries to buck Redman off but Redman is having none of it.
Redman trying to control the action but Puno is working from the bottom.
Puno gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Puno wants to get back to full guard.
Puno is working hard here to advance position.
Puno trying to hold on to Redman's head to control him but Redman postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Puno slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Puno has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Redman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Puno is proving hard to escape from.

Redman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Puno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Redman's guard.


Puno drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Puno as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Redman screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Puno! Nice submission victory there!
