Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eli Armis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Nahtic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armis comes to the ring accompanied by Mortal Kombat Theme. Nahtic has chosen Sleeping My Day Away as his entrance music. Eli Armis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lou Nahtic! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nahtic on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Nice cross by Nahtic. Armis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Armis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nahtic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nahtic swinging wildly here.
Armis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nahtic throws out the jab. Nahtic cracks the inside of Armis's front leg. Armis shoots in looking for a takedown. Nahtic tries to sprawl out of it but Armis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Nahtic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice shot lands for Nahtic. Armis slips a jab and a cross from Nahtic.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Armis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nahtic.
Armis is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nahtic's half guard. Nahtic wants to stand back up but Armis manages to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armis trying to control the action but Nahtic is working from the bottom. Armis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nahtic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Armis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Nahtic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Armis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Armis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nahtic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Nahtic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Armis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nahtic knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nahtic keeps working. Nahtic tries to improve position but can't. Armis happy to just control the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armis tries to move to mount but Nahtic blocks the move with his legs. Armis trying to control the position but Nahtic is working away. Armis has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Nahtic is trying to buck Armis off. Armis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nahtic, who protects the arm well. Nahtic is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Armis's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Nahtic has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Death Valley Training Facility. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Nahtic is trying to escape back to his feet but Armis uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Armis taking a breather here. Nahtic is looking to reverse the position. Armis has hold of Nahtic's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Nahtic seems comfortable defending it but Armis has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Nahtic is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Nahtic is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Armis couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Eli Armis! Our winner, Eli Armis, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
