Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xandra Tayman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Tamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That has opened up Kenji Tamura's cut even more.
Tayman shoots in but Tamura avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tayman.

Tayman lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tamura backs up against the ropes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tayman shoots for a double leg takedown but Tamura sprawls well. He's pushed Tayman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xandra Tayman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tayman looks to land a combination. Tamura sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

The cut above Kenji Tamura's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Tamura has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
