Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Morose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Zsasz!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zsasz misses the jab.
A slow jab from Zsasz misses its intended target.
Zsasz darts in trying to clinch

and Morose counters with a takedown into side control.
Morose working the ground and pound.
Morose cracks Zsasz with a big elbow.
Zsasz told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Zsasz is looking to regain half guard here but Morose keeps moving and retains side control.
Morose scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Zsasz to see if he's OK.
Zsasz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Morose throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Morose working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zsasz is working to avoid the ground and pound but Morose connects with a decent elbow.

Morose cracks Zsasz with a big right hand but Zsasz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Morose postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Morose landing strikes.
Morose lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Zsasz down.


Zsasz is rocked!
Morose lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Zsasz! Morose senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Zsasz out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). David Morose!
David Morose bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
