Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guilhaume Prevot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bust Faces (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guilhaume Prevot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bust Faces! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Prevot misses. Despite the aggression on Faces's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Prevot darts in and clinches Faces up against the cage. Prevot is trying to push Faces away but Faces has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Prevot breaks the clinch.

and Faces counters with a two punch combo. Prevot blocks a head kick by Faces.
Faces gets the takedown into side control. Faces controlling the position. Prevot is working to avoid the ground and pound but Faces connects with a decent elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Faces lands a decent elbow from side control. Faces controlling the position. Faces has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Prevot tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faces working the ground and pound. Prevot can't do much from the bottom here. Prevot is trying to escape the position but Faces is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Faces has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. It looks like Faces might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Sloppy strikes there by Faces.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Faces decides to stand back up. Faces paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Prevot clinches with his opponent.

Faces escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Faces closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Prevot did well to prevent Faces getting side control. Faces is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faces is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Faces not doing much here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Faces shoots in and bounces Prevot off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Prevot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Faces controls from within his opponent's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bust Faces dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Prevot gets in close and instigates a clinch. Faces is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Prevot can't fight it off and eventually Faces manages to take the fight to the floor. Prevot looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Prevot not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Faces engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Faces is continuing to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prevot wants to stand and escape but Faces is having none of it.

Faces passes Prevot's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Prevot trying to control here.
Faces stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Prevot to get to his feet. Prevot lands a jab-cross combination. Faces tries to clinch there but Prevot circles away.
Prevot clinches up against the cage. Prevot jumps guard and drags Faces to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Faces preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Faces stays in close to Prevot's body and controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faces content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Faces with a nice head shot there. Prevot keeping full guard, as Faces tries to pass. Prevot being controlled here, momentarily. Bust Faces has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faces thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Faces is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Faces changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Prevot looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prevot tries to improve position but can't. Faces passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Prevot! Faces with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Faces just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bust Faces showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Faces in particular looking to stall. The adventures of Faces the control monster continue. Boring. Faces stands up and beckons Prevot to join him on the feet. Faces leaves Prevot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faces wants to slow Prevot down by chopping away at his legs. Prevot throws a left and a right that both miss
and Faces counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Prevot pushes Faces off and gets back to his feet. Guilhaume Prevot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Faces drives through with a takedown into Prevot's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Prevot has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Faces is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Faces gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Prevot is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Faces's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Faces's back! Prevot keeps control of the position as Faces tries to break free.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Faces rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Faces has his hands clasped together around Prevot's back. He's all about the action. Faces is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Guilhaume Prevot has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Prevot is trying to work for a kimura but Faces is defending well.
Prevot is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Guilhaume Prevot. I think Faces has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
