Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Hell's Bells- AC/DC as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Cain Jones enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Frankie Corleone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cain Jones! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Corleone. Corleone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones throws a counter combo. Jones throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Frankie Corleone has been cut. Corleone shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well. Corleone misses with a kick to the body and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Corleone will be more careful next time no doubt. Corleone throws a head kick that Jones semi-blocks.
It looks like Cain Jones has been cut. Corleone is looking to slow Jones down with leg kicks. Corleone keeps Jones at a distance using the push kick. This has been an exciting period of action! A big right from Jones misses. Corleone throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Corleone cracks the inside of Jones's front leg. Good leg kick by Corleone there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A punch combination from Jones misses. Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Corleone.

Cain Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones avoids the head kick by Corleone.
Corleone buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Corleone is looking to slow Jones down with leg kicks. Corleone scores with a kick to the body.
Corleone fakes the leg kick and cracks Jones in the body. Jones throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Corleone's head but Corleone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Corleone drives through with a takedown into guard. Jones has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Corleone has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Corleone lands a damaging elbow. Corleone misses with a short punch on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Corleone has Jones pushed against the cage. Corleone misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jones.
Corleone has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jones is trying to keep an underhook but Corleone manages to get the takedown into half guard. Corleone is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jones is trying to stand back up but Corleone is controlling him
Corleone is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Corleone throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely. Corleone is pressing down on Jones's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jones is holding on for now. Jones wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corleone is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Corleone stops Jones from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Corleone working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Corleone is figuring out what he wants to do next. Jones is trying to stand back up but Corleone is controlling him
We've been hearing that Corleone has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Corleone is working for a kimura but Jones is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Corleone throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely. Corleone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head. Corleone missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jones wants to get back to his feet. Nice strikes from Corleone there. Corleone not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Corleone not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corleone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Corleone thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.

Frankie Corleone dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Corleone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jones on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Some wild striking there from Jones.
Corleone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Corleone getting side control. Frankie Corleone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Corleone prevents Jones from standing back up.

Corleone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corleone prevents Jones from standing back up.

Corleone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jones is trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corleone throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Corleone is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jones can do to turn this around? Jones takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Corleone is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jones has escaped the position, nice work there. Corleone scores with a couple of short elbows. Jones is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Corleone is controlling him well. Corleone in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Corleone is putting a hurting on Jones here, landing some big shots from side control. Corleone landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Corleone lands a nice forearm strike. Corleone scoring with punches from side control. Corleone lands some shots froms side control. Jones regains half guard there - taking advantage of Corleone's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Corleone in particular looking to stall. Jones makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! This has been an exciting period of action! Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corleone connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Frankie Corleone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Corleone shoots in. Corleone shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Corleone was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jones is trying to buck Corleone off. Sloppy strikes there by Corleone. Jones is trying to get back to his feet. Corleone lands an elbow.

Corleone is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well. Corleone tries to advance to mount but Jones denies him. Jones is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Jones is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Corleone looking to score a takedown here. Jones is defending well but Corleone drives through and ends up in Jones's guard. Corleone throws a big elbow that misses. Jones pushes Corleone off and gets back to his feet.
Corleone instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corleone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jones pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jones's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Jones is trying to break the clinch but Corleone has him pressed against the cage. Corleone works on Jones's body with a couple of short punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones blocks a body shot from Corleone. Corleone is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now. Jones is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Corleone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Corleone has Jones pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jones manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Corleone tries to score a body lock takedown but Jones shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jones blocks an elbow strike from Corleone.

Corleone tries to land knees in the clinch but Jones avoids the damage to the body. Corleone is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now. Jones takes an elbow to the temple. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Corleone. Corleone stalling.
Jones blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Corleone misses with a knee strike.
Corleone doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Corleone is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Cain Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Jones is trying to break the clinch but Corleone has him pressed against the cage. Corleone dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Jones takes a knee to the side of the body. Corleone misses with a body punch.
Corleone is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jones managing to block the knees to the body from Corleone.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Corleone tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jones avoids it. Frankie Corleone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Corleone is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Frankie Corleone showed his dominance in that final round. Well Corleone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
