Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dion Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazarus Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watts kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Android Porn . Lazarus Saunders is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lazarus Saunders! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saunders looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Watts tries to roll over but Saunders keeps him under control. Saunders controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Watts is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saunders looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Saunders seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saunders with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Saunders is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Saunders is looking to take a break and control but Watts is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Watts is looking to improve his position.
Saunders slows the pace down in half guard. Saunders looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Saunders lands with a punch from half guard. Watts is doing well to control the position and prevent Saunders from advancing to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saunders is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Saunders is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Watts wants to control but Saunders is keeping busy and won't allow it. Saunders seems to be working for a kimura but Watts defends the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Watts is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Saunders seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Saunders connects with a nice short shot to Watts's temple. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Saunders is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lazarus Saunders dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Saunders is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Watts's half guard. Watts is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Saunders has latched onto it... Big trouble! Saunders pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Watts is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Saunders!
