Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jarrod Mcgowan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Seth Nana Peterson! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson clinches up with Mcgowan and pushes him back against the cage. Peterson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mcgowan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Peterson lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Peterson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A bone on bone clash there as Mcgowan blocks the leg kick.
Peterson closes the distance and clinches. Peterson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Peterson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mcgowan. Peterson throws a sloppy head kick and Mcgowan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Peterson moves into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mcgowan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Peterson just stands there and leans against the cage. Peterson landing some nice looking knees to the body.

It looks like Jarrod Mcgowan has been cut. Mcgowan scores with a shot to the side of Peterson's head. Mcgowan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Peterson to keep the fight standing. Mcgowan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Peterson walks away with a smile on his face. Mcgowan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Peterson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mcgowan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Peterson is defending well for now.

Peterson pushes Mcgowan back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Mcgowan is rocked! Peterson manages to break the clinch.
Peterson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Mcgowan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Oh Mcgowan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Peterson feints a jab and as Mcgowan dips his head, Peterson unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Mcgowan right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Mcgowan falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Peterson smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Seth Nana Peterson!
