Madarame comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bleed It Out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ikkaku Madarame has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madarame connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Donaldson really is a fat lump.

Madarame throws a right hand that Donaldson ducks under and follows up with a left that Donaldson also avoids with ease.
Some wild striking there from Donaldson.
Good leg kick by Donaldson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Madarame lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Cristobal Donaldson has been cut.
Madarame will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Donaldson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Donaldson fails to land the takedown.
Madarame feints a jab promting Donaldson to slip. Madarame then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Donaldson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Donaldson throws a leg kick but Madarame moved away.
Madarame leaves Donaldson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Donaldson walks into a stiff left hand from Madarame.
Donaldson tries to clinch but Madarame moves out of range.
Madarame throws a right hand that Donaldson ducks under and follows up with a left that Donaldson also avoids with ease.
Donaldson misses with a head kick.
Madarame misses with a jab, cross combination.
Madarame cracks Donaldson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Donaldson needs to keep his hands up - Madarame had a free shot at his head there.
