0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emanuel Mboca! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Giles gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mboca on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Mboca shoots in for a double leg but Giles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mboca takes the fight into the clinch. Mboca is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Giles pulls him back up using the underhooks. Mboca tries to break free but Giles pushes him back against the cage. Mboca has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Giles after a bit of a struggle. Nestor Giles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Mboca tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Giles defends well and Mboca ends up having to push Giles into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. It looked like Giles was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mboca. Mboca lands a big head kick that sends Giles tumbling to the mat! Mboca takes a step backwards and waves Giles back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Nestor Giles has been cut. Giles has Mboca up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Giles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Giles prevents the takedown attempt.
Mboca pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Mboca creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Giles's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Giles drops to his knees and Mboca pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Emanuel Mboca! Emanuel Mboca decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
