Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hump Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vito Belto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hump Face!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vito Belto!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belto lands a jab to Face's midsection.
Belto works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


It looks like Hump Face has been cut.
Belto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Face clinches.
Face creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Belto's defenses.


It looks like Vito Belto has been cut.
Belto has had enough of the clinch but Face keeps him there for the moment.
Belto takes an elbow to the forehead.
Face looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Face with a knee to the head.
Belto is looking to break free of the clinch but Face has double underhooks.
Belto is trying to push Face away but Face has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Our sources have told us that Face has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Belto wants to break free but Face has control.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Face throws an elbow but misses.
Face misses with a knee strike.
Face lands an elbow just above Belto 's eye.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A nice glancing elbow lands by Face.

Belto wants to break the clinch but can't.

Face connects with a nasty looking knee right to Belto's face.


That has opened up Vito Belto's cut even more.
Face pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.

Face has hold of one of Belto's legs. Belto is fighting the takedown attempt but Face gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Face is breathing heavily.
Belto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Face is one step ahead there.

Belto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Face defends well.
Face is working Belto over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Face's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Face keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Belto's head.

Belto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Belto makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Belto.

Belto is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Face passes into half guard.

Face scoring with strikes to the body and head.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Face is nestled in close to Belto, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Face connects with a nice short shot to Belto's temple.

Face drops back looking for a leg! Belto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Belto manages to kick Face off! Face jumps back into Belto's guard.

Belto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Face lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Face stands up over Belto, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Belto has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Face can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Face passes Belto's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Belto felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Face is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Belto can do to turn this around?
Face lands an elbow that stopped Belto in his tracks for a moment.

Face is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Belto can't fight it off and eventually Face manages to take the fight to the floor. Belto looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Belto has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Face has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Face is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Belto is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
