And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hakuin Ekaku Jr!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poli shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ekaku Jr as he avoids it easily.
Poli fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Poli gets caught napping as Ekaku Jr dives in and scores a takedown. Poli manages to retain guard.
Ekaku Jr wants to control from the top but Poli keeps moving.

Poli escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ekaku Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ekaku Jr keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Poli's head.

Ekaku Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ekaku Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Poli's legs - danger averted.
Ekaku Jr connects with a couple of short punches.

Poli looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ekaku Jr is defending well. Poli quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ekaku Jr has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Poli celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Oko Poli!
In his post fight interview, Oko Poli started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
