The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Oliveira.
Vinicius being controlled for a moment.
Oliveira lands a decent elbow from side control.
Vinicius wants to get back to his feet.
Oliveira lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oliveira tries to move to mount but Vinicius blocks the move with his legs.
Vinicius knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oliveira on the ground.

Oliveira is working to tighten his grip on Vinicius 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Vinicius has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Oliveira is really squeezing tight and eventually Vinicius passes out! Oliveira breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
