Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nameless Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter comes to the cage accompanied by Also Sprach Zarathustra. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nameless Fighter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thiago Machado! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Fighter. Machado takes one on the button. Fighter connects with the punch. A big left from Fighter misses. Machado uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fighter.
A big left from Fighter misses. Machado takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Machado blocks a jab. Fighter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Machado lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fighter finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Machado closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machado is leaning against Fighter and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Fighter lands a shoulder strike. Fighter scores with an uppercut up the middle. Machado stalling in the clinch.

A short right from Fighter on the inside. Fighter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Machado backwards.
Machado is rocked! Fighter turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fighter manages to end up in side control. Machado is still in real trouble! Can Fighter finish him? A lull in the action here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Machado is looking for a sweep. Machado keeps trying to improve his position. Machado struggling a bit here. Machado tries to buck Fighter off but Fighter is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Machado's shoulder. That is not cool. Machado tries to improve position but can't. Machado seems to have recovered his senses. Machado can't do much from the bottom here. Machado gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machado is doing well to control the position and prevent Fighter from advancing to side control. Machado wants to get back to full guard. Machado slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Machado is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Fighter is not content to let Machado control the position. Machado is working for a kimura but Fighter is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machado is looking to take a break and control but Fighter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Machado is looking to advance position but Fighter won't allow it. Fighter is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Machado wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fighter keeps working.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Machado is working for a submission of some sort.
Machado is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Machado works his way into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nameless Fighter dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A telegraphed right hand from Machado misses the target. Machado fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Machado throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thiago Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machado wants to clinch up but Fighter keeps it at a distance. Fighter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Machado. Machado circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Machado shoots in but no luck this time. Machado misses with a takedown and Fighter counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Machado! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nameless Fighter! Our winner, Nameless Fighter, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
