Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kaleki Oliweli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rogerio Fernandes! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oliweli misses with a hook. Fernandes tries to land a front kick but Oliweli steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Oliweli tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The fight stays on the outside here - Oliweli looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oliweli tries to close the distance and clinch but Fernandes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A jab-cross combination lands for Oliweli and sends Fernandes crashing to the mat! Oliweli follows him down to the mat - Fernandes regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Rogerio Fernandes has been cut. Fernandes scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Oliweli manages to mount him!

That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandes trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Oliweli controlling his opponent. Fernandes is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Oliweli takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oliweli won't let Fernandes get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Oliweli controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaleki Oliweli dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rogerio Fernandes's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Oliweli fails in his attempt to clinch. Oliweli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fernandes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Oliweli moves into the clinch successfully.
Oliweli lands an elbow inside that Fernandes shrugs off. Oliweli breaks from the clinch.
Oliweli drops Fernandes with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Fernandes! Oliweli dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaleki Oliweli!
