Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abe Roach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Krance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abe Roach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Krance! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krance shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Krance showed some decent athleticism there. Roach trying to control but Krance postures up.
Krance content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Krance is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roach is trying desperately to improve position. Krance controlling the pace for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krance's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Roach is desperately trying to improve his position but Krance has a good base and remains in mount. Krance controlling his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roach might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. More stalling from Krance. Roach wants to control but Krance is having none of it. Krance controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roach wants to hold on but Krance pushes him away.

Krance tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Let's hope that Krance has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Krance closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Krance with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Krance works his way into full mount! Krance looking to control and managing it successfully. Roach is looking to improve his position but Krance isn't that keen on the idea. Roach wants to hold on but Krance pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krance controlling the position easily from mount. Roach is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Krance controlling from the full mount. Roach tries to reverse the position but Krance maintains control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krance controlling from the full mount. Roach sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Krance with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Krance trying to pass the guard but Roach defending well. Krance uses his free foot to push down on Roach's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Roach. Krance controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roach tries to lock up and control but Krance gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Krance takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Roach is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Roach wants to hold on but Krance pushes him away. Roach is looking to get to half guard. Krance has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Krance controlling from the full mount. Roach can't escape the position.

Chris Krance showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Krance gets the takedown into side control. Roach is trying to get back to his feet. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Roach gets back to half guard. Roach has his hands clasped together around Krance's back. He's all about the action. Krance is figuring out what he wants to do next. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roach wants to control but Krance is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Roach trying to control but Krance postures up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Krance closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Roach quickly recovers to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Krance trying to control the pace. Krance trying to pass the guard but Roach defending well. Roach is trying to get back to full guard. Krance looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Roach is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Krance wants to pass the guard but Roach is defending well. Krance is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Krance is figuring out what he wants to do next. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Roach wants to get back to full guard. Abe Roach has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chris Krance is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Krance looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

And that's the end of the fight! Chris Krance comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Krance has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
