Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Island Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Billy Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Fighter! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Fighter lands a slapping body shot.
Joe could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Fighter throws a leg kick that is checked and Joe counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Fighter! Joe trying to control the position but Fighter is working away. Fighter tries to get back to half guard but can't. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fighter can do anything to dispel that myth. Joe works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Joe cracks Fighter with a big elbow. Fighter takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Joe is working Fighter over with some ground and pound from side control. Fighter tries to bench press Joe off him but Joe keeps the position. Joe is working Fighter over with some ground and pound from side control. Joe is putting a hurting on Fighter here, landing some big shots from side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Joe is looking to take a break and control but Fighter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter is trying to improve his position. Fighter trying to control but Joe flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Joe lands shots from the back. Fighter grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Fighter is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Joe is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Joe gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Joe gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Joe apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Fighter lands a slapping body shot.
Joe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter is trying to defend but Joe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fighter wants to control but Joe is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter tries to roll over but Joe keeps him under control. Joe keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Fighter is looking for a sweep. Joe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Joe moves into full mount! Fighter won't be happy about that! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fighter tries to lock up and control but Joe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Fighter can't escape the position.
Fighter wants to hold on but Joe pushes him away. Joe lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
It looks like Island Fighter has been cut. Joe lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Fighter hang on? Joe lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Fighter is rocked! Fighter keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Joe postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Fighter badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Joe around the waist but Joe pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Joe is the winner by TKO! Joe jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Joe!
