Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matty Markos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Breese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matty Markos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Benny Breese! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Markos misses with a body shot.
A head kick misses from Markos. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Markos. Markos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Breese paws at him with a jab and circles away. Breese is looking to clinch. Breese shoots in and drives through. Markos sprawls well. Markos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Markos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Breese is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Markos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Markos thows a huge punch but Breese dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breese is staying active underneath Markos, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Breese is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Markos is looking to take a break and control but Breese is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Breese trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Markos manages to pass to mount!

Markos moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Breese has worked his arm free - good work by Breese!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Breese struggling a bit here. Breese manages to work his way to half guard, despite Markos's best efforts. Breese gets back to full guard.
Markos drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Breese manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Markos has Breese in his guard. Markos is pulling down on Breese's head to control his posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breese won't allow Markos to get back to his feet. Breese works over Markos with some ground and pound from guard. Breese is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Markos working a defensive guard here.

Breese wants to control from the top but Markos keeps moving.

Markos on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Markos tries to get out of the position. It looks like Breese might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Benny Breese will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Markos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Markos with a poor takedown and Breese makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Breese swats away the attempt to clinch by Markos. Breese tries to counter with a clinch but Markos shakes him off and moves away. Breese misses with a double jab.
Breese shoots in for a takedown but Markos shows good takedown defense. Markos bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Breese is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Markos seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Markos is keen to just control but Breese is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Markos stops Breese from getting back to his feet.
Breese is trying to maintain the position but Markos is very close to passing his half guard. Markos slips a nice elbow through Breese's hands, connecting with Breese's forehead. Breese is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Breese trying to control but Markos postures up.
Markos missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Markos looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Breese misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Markos scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Breese bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Breese wants to control but Markos is keeping him busy. Markos tries to buck Breese off but Breese is having none of it. Breese is putting a hurting on Markos here, landing some big shots from side control. Breese tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Markos is trying to control Breese's posture but Breese avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breese wants to stand but Markos is controlling his arm. Breese is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Markos is trying to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Markos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Markos is not content to let Breese control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Markos decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Markos is looking to pass Breese's guard but actually Breese recovers to full guard. Breese keeping moving, preventing Markos from controlling successfully. Markos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Breese is proving hard to escape from. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Breese is looking to cinch up a triangle. Markos throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Breese's body to avoid the submission. Breese has instead reached around Markos's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Breese arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Benny Breese! Matty Markos was interviewed post fight and said 'I will be back this is only the begining'.
