Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ask Fairchild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Funky Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fairchild comes into the arena with Jesse & Joy - Llorar blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Punch.
Fairchild changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Punch doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Funky Punch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping leg kick lands for Punch.
Punch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Punch throws a head kick but Fairchild moves out of range.
Fairchild half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Punch throws a head kick but Fairchild moves out of range.
Punch lands a big head kick that sends Fairchild tumbling to the mat! Punch takes a step backwards and waves Fairchild back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fairchild is rocked!
It looks like Ask Fairchild has been cut.
Fairchild really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Punch goes for a small jab and connects. Now Punch goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Fairchild stumbles back but Punch runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Fairchild to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Fairchild will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Funky Punch!
Funky Punch spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
