Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johan Pahlm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ole NKone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pahlm comes to the cage accompanied by Peace Love & Pitbulls - Dog Church . There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ole NKone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pahlm gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Pahlm slips a jab from NKone.
Pahlm throws a push kick but NKone slaps the foot to one side.
Pahlm scores with a decent looking hook.

NKone lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw NKone working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

NKone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pahlm misses with a looping left.
It seemed like NKone was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
NKone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A chopping leg kick lands by Pahlm.
NKone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pahlm but Pahlm pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pahlm ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And Pahlm counters with a quick kick to the body but NKone blocks it.
Ole NKone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
NKone throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
NKone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pahlm was well out of range. Poor timing from NKone.

Pahlm has taken the fight to the clinch.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Pahlm lands a knee to the body.
NKone blocks the elbow strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Johan Pahlm will probably get the nod.

NKone throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pahlm was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
NKone connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pahlm momentarily.

We've been told by Pahlm's head coaches at LOD - Phoenix Mixed Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

NKone slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
NKone paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
NKone takes one on the chin but seems OK.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pahlm has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. NKone is working away from the top position though.
Pahlm is pressing down on NKone's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pahlm uses good head movement to avoid the hook from NKone.

Ole NKone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A telegraphed right hand from NKone misses the target.

Pahlm throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pahlm will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
NKone walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Horrible takedown attempt by NKone or perhaps it was just good defense by Pahlm, which made it look bad.

NKone cracks Pahlm with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pahlm has momentary wrist control but NKone slips an elbow through the middle.
Pahlm wants to sweep here but NKone controlling him for the moment.

NKone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pahlm is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

NKone is looking to take a break and control but Pahlm is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
NKone in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
NKone throws a strike aimed at the side of Pahlm's head but Pahlm avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
NKone looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Pahlm is avoiding damage well.
Pahlm is looking to reverse the position.
NKone lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

A very excited looking Ole NKone rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
