Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Du Toit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Roy Du Toit has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Roy Du Toit seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Du Toit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Myers! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Du Toit misses with a lunging right hand
and Myers holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Myers jumps guard and drags Du Toit to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Myers controlling Du Toit's posture. Myers's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Du Toit got a little sloppy there for a moment and Myers has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Du Toit has managed to get both his arms back between Myers's legs - danger averted. Myers tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Myers looking to control.
Du Toit has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Myers holds on and takes a little breather. Myers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Myers working a defensive guard here.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Du Toit darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Du Toit is thwarting Myers's attempts to control the position. Myers felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Du Toit lands with a punch from half guard. Myers wants to get back to full guard. Du Toit stops Myers from getting back to his feet.
Myers landing strikes from the bottom. Myers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Du Toit is pressing down on Myers's thigh, looking to free his foot. Myers is holding on for now. Myers is refusing to be controlled, as Du Toit sits in half guard. Myers kicks off Du Toit and gets to his feet. Du Toit is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Du Toit is looking to clinch but Myers is avoiding it.

Myers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Du Toit, pushing him back against the cage.

Du Toit definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Myers has his hands on Du Toit's head, controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Myers wants to stand but Du Toit is controlling the position. Myers is striking but Du Toit is not phased and passes to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are battling for position here. Myers manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Du Toit preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Myers dominated that round. The cut man is working on Roy Du Toit's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Myers clinches up with Du Toit and pushes him back against the cage. Myers pulls guard effortlessly. Myers pulls Du Toit in close to his closed guard and prevents Du Toit from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Myers has his feet on Du Toit's thighs here. He's pushed Du Toit off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Du Toit screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
