Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Julio El Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott has chosen Wildboy as his entrance music. Maximus Scott struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julio El Toro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
36 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Maximus Scott! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Darius Henderson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Scott looks like he's thinking about clinching though. As Scott looks to move away, El Toro throws a big counter combo but Scott just gets out of the way. El Toro throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nice takedown defense from El Toro. No joy for Scott on that attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Scott. Scott catches El Toro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Julio El Toro has been cut. Scott fails to land the takedown. Julio El Toro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maximus Scott. Scott looks for a takedown but El Toro sprawls well. Scott misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. El Toro ducks under a wild hook from Scott. Scott drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. El Toro struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Scott is trying to get an arm triangle but El Toro is defending well. El Toro wants to control but Scott postures up. Scott goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, El Toro rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Scott's guard! Nice work there by El Toro! El Toro has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. El Toro lands a couple of elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. El Toro is in close to Scott's body, working some short punches and elbows. Scott is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
El Toro makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. El Toro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, El Toro has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted. El Toro is in close to Scott's body, working some short punches and elbows. El Toro won't allow Scott to sweep him here. El Toro scoring with some ground and pound. El Toro lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. El Toro is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Scott working for a triangle but El Toro defends it easily.
El Toro working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Scott working for submissions but it's allowed El Toro to get to half guard.
El Toro lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott wants to get back to full guard. El Toro lands with a punch from half guard. Scott looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. El Toro working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
It looks like Maximus Scott has been cut. Nice strikes from El Toro there. El Toro is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That has opened up Maximus Scott's cut even more. El Toro working over Scott with some ground and pound. Scott looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Scott is rocked! El Toro working Scott over with strikes. Scott is still in real trouble! Can El Toro finish him?
The cut above Maximus Scott's eye is starting to cause him problems now. El Toro is nestled in close to Scott, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Maximus Scott's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Maximus Scott's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Julio El Toro! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Julio El Toro made sure he mentioned Conquer, along with how happy he was to win his fight. In defeat, Maximus Scott stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well, that didn't go as planned!'.
