Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Barrett Robbins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jihad Khan!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a leg kick

and Robbins counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Khan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Robbins has Khan up against the cage in a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Khan fails to land.
Khan lands an uppercut.
Robbins is looking for a takedown.
Khan misses with a punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khan pushes Robbins back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Robbins manages to break the clinch.
Khan displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Khan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Khan moves into the clinch.
Khan prevents a takedown attempt there.
Khan has a couple of punches blocked by Robbins.
Robbins has Khan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Khan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Khan told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barrett Robbins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robbins slowing the pace effectively.
Khan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Robbins.
Robbins can't get the takedown.

A nice right hand lands inside from Khan.

Khan lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Khan has a couple of punches blocked by Robbins.
Khan misses with a punch on the inside.
A body shot lands from Khan.
Khan gets underhooks to prevent Robbins's takedown attempt.

Robbins has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Khan is trying to keep an underhook but Robbins manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Khan scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Robbins manages to mount him!
Khan is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Robbins working the ground and pound effectively.

Khan wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Robbins has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Khan taps furiously! This one is all over!
