And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kasperi Kaappanen!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaappanen misses the jab.
Fighter staying out of range there.
Kaappanen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fighter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kaappanen.
Kaappanen throws a front kick aimed at Fighter 's knee but Fighter avoids it well.

Fighter shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kaappanen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kaappanen is trying to control Fighter 's posture but Fighter avoids it.
Kaappanen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fighter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Fighter misses with the ground and pound.
Kaappanen avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fighter .
Kaappanen wants to control but Fighter postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaappanen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fighter 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Fighter pushes down on Kaappanen's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Kaappanen is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fighter frees his head nicely. Oh but Kaappanen has switched to an armbar! Fighter is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
