Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Searlas Saucier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Silva Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva Jr is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2pac- Another Motherfucker Drops. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva Jr looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Silva Jr lands a head kick!
A low kick from Silva Jr misses
and Saucier counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Saucier tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Silva Jr counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

letting Saucier counter with a right hand.
Silva Jr slaps away a takedown attempt from Saucier, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Saucier dives in and grabs Silva Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva Jr pushes down on Saucier's head and hops out.
Silva Jr flicks out a counter leg kick but Saucier steps away.
Silva Jr ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva Jr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And Saucier counters with a quick kick to the body but Silva Jr blocks it.
Silva Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva Jr is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Saucier's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Silva Jr connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Saucier scrambles back to his feet.

Saucier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Silva Jr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Saucier circles away quickly and effectively.
Saucier changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Saucier throws a sloppy head kick and Silva Jr moves out of range easily.

Saucier throws a big counter combination but Silva Jr scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Silva Jr tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Saucier is able to avoid easily.

Horrible takedown attempt by Saucier or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva Jr, which made it look bad.

Silva Jr fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Saucier is out of range.
Saucier fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Silva Jr thuds a left hand into Saucier's body.
Saucier closes the distance looking to clinch
and Silva Jr counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Saucier shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva Jr defends it nicely.
Silva Jr unleashes a big counter combination but Saucier bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Saucier gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Silva Jr counters with a one-two to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucas Silva Jr dominated that round.
That's time! Saucier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Saucier needs to keep his hands up - Silva Jr had a free shot at his head there.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Saucier might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Lucas Silva Jr spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
