Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Fardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silent Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fardy comes to the cage accompanied by Smack My Bitch Up. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Fardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Silent Bob!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bob swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A little feinted left hand from Fardy on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bob checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bob follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Fardy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fardy duly obliges.

Bob clinches up with Fardy and pushes him back against the cage.
Our sources have told us that Fardy has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Fardy prevents a body shot from Bob.
A head punch on the inside from Fardy fails to land.
A short uppercut from Fardy.
Fardy tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bob's elbow.
Bob blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fardy swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Bob tries to pull guard but Fardy holds him up against the cage and eventually Bob drops back down to his feet.

Fardy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fardy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bob's sensitive parts.
Fardy connects with a nice looking jab.

Bob moves into range and clinches up with Fardy.

Bob scores with a nice hook to the head.

Bob tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Fardy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Fardy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bob changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fardy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bob wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fardy keeps working.
Fardy is trying to control Bob's posture but Bob avoids it.

Bob scores with a couple of short elbows.

Bob working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fardy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Bob tries to score with some ground and pound. Fardy controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Fardy is holding Bob down, trying to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fardy can't do much from the bottom here.
Fardy is letting Bob control him for a moment.

You can see the frustration on Fardy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bob looks up at the clock and then as Fardy takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bob smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fardy holds on to Bob's head and controls the position momentarily.
Fardy wants to control but Bob postures up.
Bob is looking to take a break and control but Fardy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bob sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fardy is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Bob tries to score with some ground and pound. Fardy controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Bob has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Fardy!
Fardy is working to get back to half guard.
Bob takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fardy is in a horrible position here. Bob smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bob misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Silent Bob will probably get the nod.

and Fardy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bob throws a body shot but no joy.
Bob scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Bob tries to land a front kick but Fardy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A counter left hand to the body from Fardy misses its target.

Bob takes a swing at Fardy's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fardy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Silent Bob comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bob winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
