Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Al Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jukka Jokela!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen pushes Jokela up against the cage in a clinch.
Jokela looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jokela creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Jokela jumps guard but Allen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Allen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jokela avoids it really well and circles away.

and Allen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Jokela moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Allen misses with a kick to the body.

Jokela shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Allen's guard.
Jokela stays in close to Allen's body and controls the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen is trying to maintain the position but Jokela is very close to passing his half guard.

Jokela looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Allen shoots in for a takedown but Jokela shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Allen darts in and clinches Jokela up against the cage.
Jokela tries to pull guard but Allen holds him up against the cage and eventually Jokela drops back down to his feet.
Allen gets control of Jokela's arms and successfully pulls guard. Allen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Allen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Allen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jokela doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Allen.

Jokela is looking for a sweep. Allen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Allen is looking for a kimura but Jokela is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Allen to get the leverage.

Allen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Allen gets caught napping as Jokela dives in and scores a takedown. Allen manages to retain guard.

Jokela changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Allen tries to avoid it but Jokela manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Allen to the ground. Allen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Allen wants to improve his position but instead Jokela has moved into half guard.
Allen is trying to stand back up but Jokela is controlling him
Jokela uses his free foot to push down on Allen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Allen.
Allen reaches up to try and control the position but Jokela seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Allen rolls and tries to escape and now Jokela has his back!
I really don't envy Allen right now.

Jokela is punishing Allen with strikes - can he finish him?!
Jokela is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Jokela controls the action.
Allen trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Jukka Jokela comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
